It's Pearl Izumi... that's just about all that need be said. Every one of their products that I have purchased has been top notch and I've been pleased with all of them. This jersey is no exception. I bought this "Wings of Rock" jersey along with the short sleeve variant to use as my kit for cyclocross racing. They are some of my favorite jersey's. I'm not a sponsored rider with team kit to wear so it's nice to have a couple good looking, matching jerseys that help friends and family identify me during a race.Functionally they are great. The long sleeve thermal jersey is awesome to have on when doing warm ups or on particularly cold days. As with all the PI jersey's that I own they fit wonderfully and the zippers work better than any other brand I have tried. They're just smooth and don't bind if operated one handed. It breathes well while still offering some warmth. I'm 5' 9" with a compact, athletic build and mediums fit perfectly.I would highly recommend this jersey... that is unless you plan to wear it racing cyclocross in Wisconsin!! Though I suppose we could start the Wisconsin PI Wings of Rock Cross team... hahaI'm 6' 185lbs , 41 chest, 34 waist and normally wear Large in PI tops so ordered a Large. The jersey fits looser than what I am used to in PI but not so loose that it flaps at speed. The sleeves are also longer than I am used to with PI long sleeve jerseys but not a problem again. I decided a bit smaller might fit better but have kept the large as it's very usable and allows for layering if I want. I saw a Medium/Large size is now available and ordered one which turns out fits much more similarly to what I am used to for PI jerseys, more of a form fit but not tight. These are perfect for me around mid 50s to 65 degrees and coupled with a windproof vest comfortable in mid to upper 40's with no layering. The finish is nice including zipper and pockets and it feels nice wearing.I race Ironman Florida most years and that race can be a great day that starts cool, or it can be an extremely cold day that may or may not warm up... I have great cycling jackets that are either too warm, or too bulky as the day warms. This jersey is so comfortable with its fleecy interior, and is warm and comfortable through a wider range of temperatures, so that even with a cold race start, and a warming day (plus long effort), I will simply unzip some to adjust overall comfort. Keep in mind I start with a wet singlet still on from the swim, that I wear alone for the run, and arm warmers are very very hard to slide onto cold wet arms with cold numb fingers... This jersey means arm warmers are not needed ~ slipping into a jersey is much easier (transition time) - nothing faster than being comfortable!Use it a lot for my road biking trips. I like the fabric feel of the Jersey. Feels a little "sticky" as you pull it on but the fit is perfect when you hit the road. It does not let any wind creep in around your wrists. Looks good and stays in shape after a season on the road with washing etc. One star off for the high price and the flimsy feeling zipper (let me add that I have not had any functional problems with the zipper so far - but I prefer sturdy zippers).I have quickly become a fan of the Pearl Izumi line of clothing, and this jersey is no exception. I'm 5'10, 170 lbs, and the medium is a perfect fit. With the weather cooling down for fall, I was concerned about the amount of layering needed with this jersey. Well, after several rides with the temperature in the mid-to-high 40's, this jersey has been all I need. No layering. No windbreaker. Just the jersey. And the kicker...I got it for less than $45 on amazon (I know, that's a smoking deal). After wearing the jersey, I realized it is well worth the $135 retail price. Hopefully, I can find more Pearl Izumi products at the bargain price!I originally bought this Jersey to get away from Arm Warmers. This is a good Jersey to wear in Temps above 45 and below 65 degrees! I had to buy a Long Sleeve base layer shirt to go under the Jersey to be comfortable in 30 - 40 degree weather, which I discovered when I wore the Jersey for the first time, and I learned that layering was the way to go. However, I will not tell people not to buy this product!!! The Jersey is very comfortable when worn with the proper layering and this color option is highly visible.I'm 6'2" and 180lbs. I ordered a size large and it fits perfect. Wore it on a cloudy, 55 degree ride and it kept me from freezing. I could have used my wind vest to truly be warm as this garment blocks none of the wind (of course it doesn't claim to).My only gripe revolves around the wrist-cuffs: they are loose and roughly finished. I expected more from a garment at this price. This is a great lightweight cycling jacket. There is no insulation, so wear it over a thermal jersey or thermal base layer in cold weather. The jacket fabric is thick enough to give you a lot of protection from wind and rain, but thin enough to stuff into your jersey pocket if the day warms up. There are even lighter weight jackets on the market, but they don't offer the same amount of weather protection. This top is ideal for autumn-sping on normal rides or if you racing and hence need to disperse lots of heat can be a good outer shell in winter on the road (possibly with an added gilet to shield chest)No zipped pockets, but good size normal pokets (3) at the back.Slveves are long enough and wide enough at the cuffs. to put over gloves, even slightly bulky ones. Collar is comfortable/soft and quite high on neck to provide good cover from wind.Fit is not tiny but like italian's sizes smaller than the northen european manufacturer, although is in good proportion all round.Would recomend for roadies.
