PI is usually great. I have dozens of their products and have had no reason to shop elsewhere until i recieved this bib short. It is labeled as Elite but the chamois is not the elite which is an orange color and is very comfortable. This is grey and is not nearly as comfy. Overall the fit is like the other PI shorts i own but i am used to the ELITE level chamois.I am curious if amazon gets the seconds from manufacturers and is able to sell at a discount and still make a margin on selling them as first rate items???I've been biking for years and have always been aggravated by my bike shorts that seemed to "ride down" as I rode. I tried a bib short made by a well known swiss company and found them to have too much padding and to be too hot for Florida weather. My nephew, who bikes several times per week, recommended these shorts, saying that they were comfortable and cool.I ordered one, went for a ride when it arrived, and found them to be the most comfortable bike shorts I've owned. They aren't overly padded, don't feel too hot, and are very high quality. I have since, ordered two more.Stays on great. Padding for comfort is excellent. With any bib there is a challenge to relieving yourself, you've got to bring the straps off your shoulders.Only complaints are that the white shows stains quickly and the straps can be a bit rough on your skin.These are the second pair of PI elite bib shorts I have purchased. I am satisfied with them however I think that they could of put silicon grippers in the legs, this is more psychological for me I think as they don't ride up, however my other pair of elite bibs do have the grippers.I love the look, but I think I bought one size too big because on any ride of 30 miles or more and the fabric chafes me terribly, even with lots of lubricant.These are just like other bibs in this price range: effective, comfortable and well made. I gained a lot of baby-weight (thought that only happened to women) so would never go out in these alone - I also wear shorts and a t-shirt! My skinny cycling days are over forever, but I just can't get used to riding a bike any distance without bibs, and these are great.This is my first bib, coming from the standard bike shorts also from Pearl Izumi, which works great, I thought I'd their cycling bib a try. Wow! Amazing! I the material feels smoother and fits comfortably on my skin. No more pulling my shorts up as its always up. I will never go back to shorts, I will be staying with bibs from now on. Thanks PI!Ridden about 80 miles with these shorts on and they are not comfortable at all. Considering I spent close to $100 on them, I don't think it was a good buy. The padding was quite minimal compared to a Louis Garneau bib short.I would recommend spending a little bit more to get a better quality pair, especially if you're a regular rider.Ich besitzte mehrere Pearl Izumi Hosen und fahre diese seit Jahren. Diese Hose sitzt wie erwartet und ist angenehm zu tragen. Im Vergleich zu meinen anderen Hosen ist der Ausschnitt hier etwas tiefer, aber das stört absolut gar nicht. Ich würde jederzeit wieder auf Pearl Izumi Hosen zurück greifen.Für den Preis eine super Hose. Sitzpolster ist angenehm, die Hose trocknet schnell und sieht super aus. Größe paßt . Absolut weiterzuempfehlen.Gute Passform, angenehmes Sitzpolster, gute Verarbeitung. Die Hose trage ich gerne auf langen Radtouren; es ist bereits meine zweite Hose. Der Kauf ist zu empfehlen!
