Pearl Izumi Men's Elite LTD Cycling Jersey - Breathable & Moisture-Wicking Performance Bike Shirt for Road Biking & Training

I've been a PI fan for years and own many of their garments. I wear medium size normal shirts but ordered an XL as these run small. I already own 2 other colors/designs of the same Elite line of jerseys (this one is a LTD) in the XL - I tried a large and it was too tight on my arms. I ride 50 to 100 miles per week and have found that these PI Elite jerseys become transparent to me - other jerseys just cause various problems for me - the PI just works. I own two Elite shorts and Barrier winter tights too, an elite jacket, an elite windbreaker and elite thermal jersey. The elite line is so much better than the select. They are so comfortable I don't notice I am wearing them. There may be more exclusive brands worn by pros but these just work for me like nothing else I've tried.When I find something that works - especially when function commands a higher priority than appearance - I like to stick with it. These fit me to a t'. They offer just the slightest looseness around the arms but fit just snug enough to not bind while not flapping. The side vents are a mesh material which helps to keep me as ventilated as possible in the south west US summer weather. The thin polyester material promotes evaporation and the good fit ensures minimal drag. In comparison, the PI full mesh "climbers jersey" is made fully from the mesh material used on the side panel for this model. I would like to have a full mesh jersey for the hot hot 100 degree weather we experience as they are probably the best ventilating based on AMZ reviews. The only weakness is this mesh I speak of, which on my first Elite jersey has begun to pucker somewhat. Due to this material being so thin it does not seem to be holding up to my frequent riding. It has not torn but does look a little weary. So having two more of these (in different colors of course) should spread the wear. That is why I did not order the climbers full mesh as I figured it would pucker all over and not hold up. That is really my only issue. Hope PI continues with this line and even successfully improves this excellent jersey.
